How do I disable touchpad on Windows 10 Home edition?

I've tried everything and after a lot of research I finally came to this but when I press the button "Disable Device" nothing happens. It's almost as if the button is disabled. How do I enable this button so that I can disable the touchpad?

I did try your method and this is what I got, and there's nothing about disabling it here:

When I right-click on Synaptics SMBus Clickpad there is nothing that says "Disable Device". Also, in touchpad settings there is no on/off switch as seen in these two images.

I don't think my device has radio buttons unless you're referring to my keyboard but here is what came up in the second method, as you can see under Human Interface Devices there is nothing that says "touchpad":

The only other device is this HID-complaint mouse which I assume is the USB mouse I have plugged into my laptop.

    Hi EliBormes

Are you sure that is the right device? - Check for other "Mice and other Pointing devices"

    Try:

Open Settings > Devices > Touchpad > Toggle off

    Cheers!
