Screen Resolution Vertically Stretched

hey, so recently I decided to switch my computer resolution to 1440x1080 to get stretched resolution on a game, and I decided to keep it as my normal computer resolution for a week because I played the game a lot.

after this week, I tried to switch back to 1920x1080 (my recommended resolution aka my original one) and it is stretched out vertically. I have no idea what caused this but I think my computer thinks that 1440x1080 is my native resolution? I have tried everything, even a factory reset but the resolution is still corrupted.

I would really appreciate some help on this because it also puts me at a disadvantage when playing games.

    Hello,

Do you have a ultrawide monitor? Can you tell me the model?

In your monitor settings try to find an image ratio setting and change it to the one that works.

    Tell me how it goes
