Having a display issue on my dell laptop. There is a rectangle portion of my screen that is in a different shade of color. Noticeable only when displaying a shade of blue. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling display drivers. I don't know whether it is a hardware or software issue.

    Good Day DhanushM_360,

    -Hit Uninstall

After restart the driver will be automatically installed.

    Restart your computer using cleanboot.

    1. Open the run box by pressing the Windows Key + R and type msconfig
    2. System Configuration Utility box will open and by default you are on general tab.
    3. On the General tab, click the selective startup and make sure that load system service and load startup items both have checked mark.
    4. Click on services tab
    5. Put a check mark on Hide All Microsoft Services
    6. Once Hide all Microsoft Services have checked mark on it, click on Disable All
    7. Click on the Startup Tab and click open task manager. This will open another window which contains all your startup applications on the administrator account.

    9. Click OK, Apply and close the configuration utility
    10. Restart your pc and check

If issue persist, let's download the updated driver from the manufacturers website.

What is the exact model of your computer?

    Hello Carlo,

Thank you for the immediate response.

I followed your steps and I got an error, "This computer does not meet minimum requirements for installing the software." I tried uninstalling the intel display adaptor. from device manager, however, it tells me to restart. When I boot up again, it automatically installs the driver again. Do I need to put a check mark on delete the driver software for this device?

    Thanks,

    Dhanush

Thank you so much for your help, Carlo.

I have tried everything that you listed. Unfortunately, nothing seemed to work. The system model is Dell Inspiron 7559.

    Thanks,

    Dhanush
