My computer boots into windows just not BIOS

I need some help!

Specs:

Gigabyte X570 Elite

Ryzen 7 3800x

32GB RAM

5 drives (3 ssds, 2 HDD)

1080ti

850W PSU

I was messing around in my bios and I turned on fast boot to ultra before it was disabled. After I saved and exited in my bios my computer sat at a black screen. I took every drive out except my m.2 (Boot drive) and with no luck. I couldn't even get into the bios. I cleared the CMOS twice and plugged every drive-in and now my computer does boot to windows. I tried safe mode to just see if that changes. nothing. When I try booting to BIOS the logo appears with the keys to hit and I do that it flashes only for a second, "BIOS has been reset. Please re-config your BIOS setup items if needed." then to a black screen. I need to get into bios to one enable XMP, two make sure everything is running fine, and three to tweak some settings I had before when it ran normally. Without hitting Del it boots to windows just fine, My bios version is mostly up to date. Version F30 9/15/2020

Any help is appreciated!

    Hi Matt_797X,

I'm Rodrigo, Independent Advisor and I will help you.

Try these steps to boot on your BIOS setup:

Open the Start Menu > Power > Hold Shift and select Restart > (The PC will reboot into a blue screen with some options) > Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > UEFI Firmware > Restart > The PC will reboot again, now into your BIOS.

Download Gigabyte Appcenter application and change your boot options there

Hi Rodrigo, I've tried that it still just gives me a small picture for a second then goes to a black screen. Is there a way I can not have that picture that shows BIOS has been reset and instead go into the BIOS?

    Hi,

You will probably need to be quicker hitting the key for Bios.. You might check to see if there is more than one key that will work.. Mu older Gigabyte board will accept both F2 and Del.. I can hit Del quicker.. You might start tapping before you ever see the screen..

I had a HP laptop that was so quick that it was almost impossible to enter Bios.. After many, many tries I finally got in.. I found a setting to delay the Post Screen for 5 seconds and that resolved the problem..

You might also try turning off Fast Startup in Windows.. It may cause a slight delay in the time you can see the Post Screen..

This feature only works when you do a SHUTDOWN and then Boot.

    It doesn't effect a RESTART.

To turn it off or on...

Go to Control panel...Power Options, and select Choose What the Power Buttons Do on the left.

Then select Change Settings That Are Currently Unavailable near the top center of screen...

Lower down on the window, uncheck Fast Startup.

Looks like you have a BIOS issue, your BIOS version is very recent, but already have 2 newer versions, I suggest you update and see if the issue is gone.
