PrtScr now results in black screen. And NO i'm not trying to capture game play.

Suddenly the PrtScr button is creating screen shots that are all black.   It was working one day and now it's no longer working. I'm taking snap shots of specific video screens on a Udemy course. I'm not trying to capture segments of the video...only a snapshot of a screen.  I believe this issue coincided with a Windows update. Please HELP!

Regards.

The generic MS reply is pretty useless here so I will answer this question. The issue is most likely related to Udemy and MS starting to enforce DRM (Digital Rights Management) on Udemy videos. This is pretty unfortunate as it makes taking notes a lot harder. You get around the issue by using a different browser from Edge/Chrome. Just use Firefox and you can take screenshots normally again on Udemy courses or you can run the browser with Udemy on it inside Windows Sandbox and take screenshots. You can see discussion about this issue here https://www.reddit.com/r/Troubleshooting/comments/m74eis/cant_take_screenshots_of_a_udemy_course_video_in/ and also some workarounds for it.

We don't need canned answers you have been using for years.  You can easily see this behavior yourself.  This happened with the last Update.  Have someone who can investigate and actually solve the problem address this please.
