Good for you NOT taking the paid service option.
Specifically what "every fix out there" did you do?
.
- Turn the printer off,
- In Windows go to "printers and scanners"
- is the specific printer listed (installed)
- Is a generic HP driver installed, ie I have "HP Universal PCL 5" for my HP 2400DN LaserPrinter
- Uninstall the HP printer driver
- Turn the printer on, it should automatically install a printer driver.
On the right side of the dialog there is an option to "trouble shoot your printer" (the printer needs to be turned on...)
Go to the HP support site for your printer:
Install the printer driver from there.
