Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-54-55YZ) audio not working after Windows 1909 update

Hello, last night I noticed that windows required an update to version 1909 so I went ahead and proceeded. After restarting my laptop, I noticed that my speaker option was displaying a red "x" and after troubleshooting, The message displayed was "One or more audio services are not running". I managed to fix that issue after fiddling with lots of solutions, and have gotten rid of the red "x". However, I still cannot play sound now even after trying:

-Setting my laptop speakers to default

-restarting my laptop

-Reinstalling Audio Drivers

-Rolling back my system to a previous version of Windows

-Changing audio formats

-Updating audio drivers to generic ones

-Disabling audio enhancements

-Ran the audio troubleshooter

-Restarting Audio services with services.msc

and just about every other solution. I'm quite lost and any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks.

    Greetings Exhine,

I appreciate your time getting back to this thread, please see the screenshot below on where you can find the "Additional Troubleshooter"

After uninstalling and re-installing the driver did you restart your computer for the changes to take effect? if not please do so after you run the troubleshooter.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.

Thank you for the fast response Carlo. However,

When I click into "Update and Security", there is no option to run any troubleshooter. Any previous troubleshooter that I have already ran did not produce any results.

For the second tip, as previously mentioned, I had already tried picking an old driver and using it but it did not work after restarting.

Third tip: I have tried to un-install and re-install again but it still did not work :(

The newly installed driver also did not work.

Any further pointers or should I try to ship it to acer to get it repaired? (Under manufacturer warranty)
