How do I convert a .TXT document to a .DOCX document? Sent to me as an attachment to me in an email.

How do you convert from .TXT to .DOCX? PLEASE HELP.

    How do you convert from .TXT to .DOCX? PLEASE HELP.

    You mark the whole text, then press Ctrl+C to copy the text, then press Ctrl+V to paste the text into the Word document.

    If you have Microsoft Word you can open the .txt file in Microsoft Word. Once in Microsoft Word you can use the File menu and select Save As. There you will have an option to change the file type from .txt to .docx.

    The easiest way to do this is by using an online tool!

    > Access https://convertio.co/docx-converter/

    > Click on "Choose Files"

    > Choose the ".txt" file for conversion

    > Click the red "Convert" button

    > Wait for the message "Conversion completed!"

    > Click on the blue "Download" button

    > The file in ".docx" format will be downloaded!

    Hello and many thanks for taking the time to answer. I had stumbled across the same solution a few days ago and found it to be TOTALLY EFFECTIVE AND SIMPLE! I am fairly new to tech etc and it was just right for me -easy to use. I now have it as an extension on my computer in case I ever need it again. Many thanks again,

    Thank you. I had found a free file format convertor which was very simple to use and solved my problem But thanks for your help. File convertor I found was convertio.co - try it and let me know what you think. ( I am a beginner ).
