If the High Contrast option is already off, see Color Filters in Ease of Acess too and turn it off if it is enabled.
My screen's colors are inverted
My two screens' colors both randomly became inverted the other day, and I do not know why nor how to fix it. Here are the solutions I've seen, and why they didn't work:
- Check the cable connection on the monitors: didn't work. don't think it's the issue because both monitors did it randomly.
- Check if high contrast mode is on: it is not
- Disable inverted colors in the magnifier: This is where things get weird. The colors are inverted without the magnifier being on. My current workaround is to turn inverted colors ON and have the magnifier on at all times. I would like to avoid doing this and actually fix the problem, especially because this causes lag on my system, especially during gaming.
