Hello, as the title says I am receiving error: NET::ERR_CERT_
Here's what I can tell you: I am an expat living in Indonesia. I know there are some govt blocks but Dropbox is not one of them and I can still access it on my phone no problem, just not my PC. I can use a VPN and get past govt blocks, but still not able to access dropbox.
What I've tried so far:
System: Windows 10 Home, 64-bit OS, HP Omen
I believe that's about it. If you can help me, as I said, I am truly desperate.
Thank you!

AFTER fully removing McAfee and any other antivirus other than Windows Defender then run these:
Windows Key + X - Command Prompt (Admin) OR Windows PowerShell (Admin)
OR Start - type in the Search box --> CMD Find at top of list and Right Click on it - Run as Admin.
(Run these one line at a time.)

McAfee will have effects as long as it is installed so you need to fully uninstall it.
Use only Windows Defender which in Windows 8/8.1 & 10 is a full antivirus.

If you have a 3rd party antivirus go to its make and get their removal software. All you need is Windows Security and Malwarebytes.
.
Also;
The best security sits between the chair and the keyboard. Watch what and where you click. If you do not know what is there do not click on "Click here". If you get an email that sates it is from your provider look at the address of the sender. If it has a couple of letters at the end they are probably the foreign country and that is not where your provider is located. When downloading programs do it from the maker not anyone else and do not allow any extra items to be included.

Are you using any 3rd party antivirus or security programs? Those can cause this issue.
