Can't screen share with Messenger app on Windows 10

When I click the screen share option, my Messenger app gets stuck on the loading screen (black camera screen with loading circle animation). I've already tried re-installing and running as admin.

Anyone have a solution?

Have you tried clicking the "Your entire screen" and see if it loads too?

Hi Juliet, thank you for your assistance! This problem has persisted for several weeks and over many restarts and WiFi reconnection attempts.
