    Hi AkashH -

I'm Kevin B. Independent advisor and a Windows user like you. I do apologize for the inconvenience that you experiencing right now, let me help you sort things out.

Multimedia Audio Controller is connected to the Sound driver of your computer. Updating the sound card of your computer should resolve the issue with the Multimedia Audio Controller

Kindly follow the steps below and check if it helps resolving the issue.

Run the updates on your computer - running the updates will check all the current installed driver on your computer and will download any latest updates available

    Press windows key + I

    Click on Updates & Security

    Click on Check for updates

Wait until windows fetches all available updates and install all updates

    Restart the computer if needed

If the above method did not work, try to manually uninstall the driver and let Microsoft install the driver manually

    Press windows key + X

    Select Device Manager

Under Other Devices, Right click on the Multimedia Audio Controller and select Uninstall then click OK

Click on Action tab and select "Scan for hardware changes" (Windows will reload the multimedia audio controller)

Locate and expand the "Sound, video and game controllers"

Locate the Multimedia Audio Controller or the Audio driver installed on your computer

Right click on it and select Update Driver

Select "Search automatically for updated driver software"

Windows will check for any available updates for your audio and will install it

Once done, close the device manager and restart the computer

    Check if everything works fine

Hope this will help and have a bless day!

    Thanks.
