2021-03-08T21:26:07+00:00 Hello EskilHofstad, welcome to the Microsoft community, my name is Bruno Leonel, an independent consultant and I would be happy to help you.
I understand that you're experiencing game freeze issues on Windows 10 and I'm sorry for that. Below are some tips and procedures that can help you.
- It can probably be driver problems, go to your motherboard and video card manufacturer's website and update them.
- Press Windows + S and type cmd, right click and select run as administrator or press Win + X -> command prompt (admin) and paste the commands below, one by one, followed by Enter:
sfc /scannowdism /online /cleanup-image /CheckHealthdism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealthRestart the computer and run the tests.
- Clean boot
Clean boot serves to determine whether a background program is interfering with the system or optimizing system loading.
Press the Windows + R keys, type msconfig and click OK;
In the System Configuration window, click on the services tab;
At the bottom of the screen, check the Hide all Microsoft services box and click Disable all;
. Now click on the Programs Startup tab and on Open Task Manager;
When loading the task manager, click on the Startup tab and disable all non-Microsoft programs (right click on the program and choose disable), close the Task Manager and click OK on system configuration and restart computer if requested.
NOTE: This procedure disables all third party services and programs. You can later, if the problem is solved in this way, selectively enable the programs and services that will start with Windows, instead of keeping all disabled. If the problem returns after activating the startup of a specific service or program, the problem is exactly in the startup of this software and it is recommended to remove it.
If the answer helped in any way, please mark it as an answer, if your question has not been solved, please post again.
I hope I helped, see you later!
