I have the same exact issue. It is not a driver update issue because I have the latest drivers and the mouse continues to not work properly. If I use a different mouse, I do not get the same lagging or inconsistent responsiveness. Also, I have two of this mouse, and have problems with both of them. But if I connect a different mouse, I do not experience any issues. That is how I was able to figure out that it was specifically the Logitech Hero 502 mouse with my Windows 10.
Logitech G502 Hero mouse acting erratically in Windows 10? Different mouse works fine in Windows and this mouse works fine on Apple OS.
Windows 10, Logitech G502 Hero is the mouse. Cursor will drift and jump, and then stop responding altogether after about 10 seconds. Have to unplug the Logitech mouse and replug it for the cursor to respond again, giving me 5 minutes before another attack. Cursor tends to not drift on long periods with no input, but once I start moving again it will start to act up. Buttons and clicks always work fine during this time.
I've updated and reinstalled all mouse and USB drivers, tried Logitech software. Tried every USB port on my desktop, with everything else unplugged. As stated, I plugged the Logitech mouse into my macbook and it worked fine. My older broken Razer mouse also works fine on this same Windows 10 desktop. Oddly, I cannot find a mouse driver with a "Logitech" manufacturer box, so maybe Windows doesn't recognize the mouse? Logitech GHUB does recognize the mouse, so I'm out of options.
TL;DR, this mouse seems to have an issue with Windows specifically, or vice versa. Anything I can do to reset or fix it, apart from clean Windows install?

2020-12-11T05:03:08+00:00 Good Day ClarkJones1,
My name is Carlo, I'm an Independent Advisor and community member like you.
I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out.
Here's the steps you can try.
-Press Windows key + X
-Go to Device Manager
-Expand the Mouse and other pointing device
-Right Click on the mouse driver that was installed
-Click Update
-Browse my computer for driver
-Let me pick from a list of available drivers in my computer
-Look for a mouse driver that was installed before and try to use that driver.
I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.
Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.
With Warm Regards,
Carlo T.

2020-12-11T16:09:19+00:00 Thanks Carlo,
In Device manager, I cannot find the Logitech mouse, only two "HID-Compliant" mice not showing that they were manufactured by Logitech. From what I understand, this is normal.
I tried your method on one of the HID compliant mice, and now the Logitech cursor won't move at all! We may be on the right track, but wrong idea. Any other solutions?
