Installing Microsoft Works 4.0 onto a Windows 10 (64bit) Computer

I need to install Microsoft Works 4.0  in order to be able to qualify to install Microsoft Office 2000. If I try to install Office 2000 without first installing Works 4.0 the Microsoft installer indicates that it has  not found any programs that qualify me to install Office. When I bought the Office 2000 it required a cross-grade which included Microsoft Works and so I bought Microsoft Works 4.0 and so was able to install Works and then subsequently Office 2000 with no problems with Windows 7 and its precursors.

In Windows 10 the installation of Microsoft Works 4.0 starts but it ends up hanging--not completing and the screen keeps on saying "Setup is updating your system".

Can anybody suggest a way I can successfully install Works 4.0?

    Thanks Frederico. I bought Microsoft Office 2019 today from Ebay. This should make an install of it very easy!By the way at ebay.com one can get a brand new DVD of Microsoft Office Professional Plus for $75 USD. This has no annual fees. It is listed as a retail version and brand new and is only for Windows 10.m Perhaps you or someone else may benefit.

    I am very sorry for your inconvenience, Peter. After some research, I found out that it's impossible to install Microsoft works 4.0 due to the fact that the program is really old and only compatible up to Windows 98.
