Your systems performance cannot really be 'boosted'. Windows does best on an SSD, and you already have that.
About all you can do is run lean and clean. eg- limit the number of programs that launch in the background when you boot into Windows
(Startup tab in Task Manager). Run Disk Cleanup now and again as well.
When using an HDD to install games on also have Windows defrag setup to keep your HDD well defragmented and optimised on a regular basis.
If you are after better gaming performance the only way to get a meaningful frame rate increase is with a higher end gpu and cpu.
Currently your system is pretty well balanced and unless you do a lot of multi-tasking your 8GB RAM is enough for pretty much any game
running at 1080p .
(I've only topped 8GB on a handful of games eg-RDR2, by around 100+ MB running at 1440p with an i7 4790 @4.4GHz w\ GTX1080.
Having said that, I don't leave a bunch of other stuff open, or try to film my gaming exploits either).
[EDIT: Most of the stuff in the page linked by Juliet is not going to provide more than a few extra fps in games, and also note that
ReadyBoost is not much help when using an SSD, or if you have adequate system RAM.
One Drive, or anything not your game trying to sync or otherwise using system resources in the background can potentially steal focus
which can be an issue with online gaming in particular. ]
