Even if you follow the various advices to uninstall DTS:X Ultra, the fact that you bought a computer with DTS:X Ultra means that your computer will be crippled without DTS:X Ultra.

In order to prevent the end-user from ruining your own sound by accidentally enabling 2 EQ at the same time, your Realtek Audio Console will not have EQ, loudness equalization, virtual 3D audio, speaker fill... because those functions belong in DTS:X Ultra.

Uninstalling DTS:X Ultra will not bring those functions magically back in the Realtek Audio Console.

DTS:X Ultra is a part of your computer's Realtek audio driver.

The only way to completely uninstall DTS:X Ultra is to completely uninstall your computer's Realtek audio driver and instead use the Windows 10 generic audio drivers written by Microsoft.

Of course using the generic audio driver presents even more technical problems.

Hi Ali. I'm Greg, awarded MVP for eleven years, Volunteer Moderator, and Independent Advisor here to help you until this is resolved.

    See how to uninstall DTX-X:

    https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Audio/Un...

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fmVnrxaWa8

When you uninstall it from Device Manager, look for a prompt to uninstall the software, too.

Also uninstall in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features.

If that is not enough remove the driver that keeps installing this way:

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
