Recently I downloaded Hitman Pro to remove some malware from my pc. After the procedure my pc was fine and I then uninstalled Hitman Pro. When I restarted my pc after the windows logo there was a black screen that said HITMAN PRO 3.8 SURFRIGHT B.V. Otherwise my pc is running fine but I need to remove that black screen after the windows logo.

Please help me!

    Greetings Aadish,

I appreciate your time in getting back to this thread, can you please try to perform Cleanboot and check if issue persists, it will disable all non-Microsoft related apps and services running in the background which are not needed in Windows.

Here's the steps on how to perform cleanboot.

    1. Open the run box by pressing the Windows Key + R and type msconfig and hit enter
    2. System Configuration Utility box will open and by default you are on general tab.
    3. On the General tab, click the selective startup and make sure that load system service and load startup items both have checked mark.
    4. Click on services tab
    5. Put a check mark on Hide All Microsoft Services
    6. Once Hide all Microsoft Services have checked mark on it, click on Disable All
    7. Click on the Startup Tab and click open task manager. This will open another window which contains all your startup applications on the administrator account.
    8. Disable all application that you're not using. You can simply just click on them and select disable.
    9. Click OK, Apply and close the configuration utility
    10. Restart your pc and check it you will still see that screen.

Keep me posted about the results, have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.

This normally happens when Hitman Pro needs to remove something at boot time. If you reboot, does that screen still appear?

I didn't perform a clean boot. But I also didn't found any startup services related to Hitman Pro and also RevoUninstaller was also unable to find any remnants of Hitman Pro...

    Any other options...

If issue persist, you can use the free version of Revo Uninstaller to remove the remnants of the Hitman Pro.

Once downloaded and installed open the app.
