    just go to the website, enter the code and log in with your Microsoft account.

    That link takes you here(Microsoft account (live.com)) and I see it asks for the code: Image

    I don't see any problem with this. What is showing when you try and type in a code?

    I'm independant advisor ,

    Copy the address https://aka.ms/remoteconnect then paste it in the address bar of your browser then press "Enter" to connect to the site, then you can enter the required code.
