Have you followed the instructions and have you also tried Windows XP compatibility mode? This workaround is from RockStar Games themselves for their game so i would be surprised if it doesn't work.

You need to make the changes and then go back to the Rockstar Game Launcher and try launching the game again.

However, I would reboot your computer after making the changes and then try launching the game

Let me know how you get on.

Hi, my name is Neil, I'm an independent adviser and a Windows 10 user like you.

Sorry you're having this problem launching GTA San Andreas.

There is a fix for this issue if you follow these instructions:

Set the game to run in Compatibility Mode for Windows 7 or Windows XP

    Close the game

Select Settings in the Rockstar Games Launcher

Select Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas from My installed games

Select Open next to View installation folder

Right-click on "gta_sa.exe" in the folder that opens and select "Properties"

On the Compatibility tab under Compatibility Mode select Run this program in compatibility mode for

Choose either Window 7 or Windows XP from the drop-down selection. (Tip - I would try Windows 7 first)

    Click Apply

    Click OK

Return to the Rockstar Games Launcher and restart the game.

You can find out more about this workaround here: https://support.rockstargames.com/articles/3600...

I hope this resolves your issue.

    Kindest regards,

    Neil
