how to check ssd slot in laptop

7th generation

is ssd slot in my laptop as i am thinking to buy SSD but i donot know space is given or not

from store i bought the laptop they said there is a slot of ssd in laptop

then i  contacted hp suuport agent firstly they said there is a slot of ssd but second time they said there is no slot in ssd

also in place of dvd writer ssd can be placed??

    If you want be sure, you can get a M.2 SSD

    There is an internal SSD slot.  Accessing it requires some disassembly.  Laptops are delicate and you should not attempt that yourself if you lack experience.

    The Maintenance and Service Guide shows details.  (Make sure it's applicable to your specific model. It's generally applicable to the HP Laptop 15-da.... series.

    Your laptop has an M.2 slot that supports both SATA and NVMe SSD's

    Provided the SSD you purchase fits an M.2. slot, that will fit into your laptop.
