I have the same problem, I can play only the demo version of the game, i dont know what to do, I paid 24€ for the game and now I cant play it.

Whenever I open the Minecraft launcher signed in as my Microsoft account which is my only account it will show me a message that says: "Oh no! Something went wrong, and we couldn't connect to Minecraft Services" and the Play button is replaced with a Play offline button but once I click that to play offline, it will say I need to make a profile even though I have a profile and have been playing the game until this error occurred. But once I click to create a profile, it will sign me into the Minecraft website and bring me to my account profile screen where it will give me the message: "Something went wrong... press reload to try again." and once I click reload, nothing changes. this error happened on Friday, May 28th.

2021-07-02T15:58:33+00:00 i know i´m late to this but i´m having similar problems because i can log into the launche with my original microsoft account (never had mojang) and it won´t show the option to play the game, which i fully purchased. Only to try the demo.
I contacted the Minecraft, Microsoft and xBox support and none of them would help me. I don´t know what to do because i paid a lot of money for this game.

2021-08-31T22:11:38+00:00 You may have solved this issue already but I was able to access my account after having the same issue by deleting the Minecraft launcher, and then redownloading it while logged into my Microsoft account. If you play with mods you'll have to repair your installation after doing this but for most launchers that's just a single click of a button.

2021-05-31T06:59:57+00:00 I did, they said to make something on bugs.mojang.com. I've done that and no one has responded. I'm using a Microsoft account and not a Minecraft one.
