My original note indicated that when I called a phone number listed on a SBCglobal wet site it turned out to be a crook trying to hack my system and then sell me a service to fix it. I got rid of him.

I'm asking for a program that will scan my network and eliminate any hacks or virus on the network. I have plenty of anti-Virus software already on my system and now I need to make sure my external network is safe.

In my home I have 15 devices connected to my internet via the Router WiFi. This includes 2 desktops, 1 laptop, 2 WiFi printers, Dish TV Network, 7 TV's (2 of which are Wifi SmartTV's, 2 cell phones, Omma home Telephone adapter, 1Samsung WiFi tablet, 2 WiFi/Blooth adapters, 10 Telephones, one Wifi/Bluetooth headset. A simple network scan shows 15-18 devices on the network. Most all of the above is correct and approved.

When I run Advance IP Scanner it says there are 15 alive, 2 dead, 4331 unknown. HOW CAN I CLEAN THIS UP AND PROTECT MY HOME NETWORK.

Hi, I'm Mario, an independent advisor and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

We are sorry about what happened.

Sorry, I didn't quite understand your question, but I think I can help.

To identify attacks on your network, it is best to have a firewall program installed on your computer/server for protection.

If you have any questions, please contact me again.

    Kind Regards,

    Mario SPB

Mario,...I have had an email with sbcglobal.net for 30+ years. This last year (2020to 2021) it all changed and now I find out the it is owned and controlled by ATT. In 2021 I could no longer access that email. I contacted SBC/ATT and someone there worked with me and finally got it to work. However I could not use it on Office 2007 so I had to use it under Windows Mail as a 2nd email address.

I searched online for some help to get my SBC account to work as a 2nd account under Office 2007 and I could never get it to work. I found one web site that specifically said they would help with SBCglobal.net problems. I call the number and got a tech from who knows where to work with me. He said there must be something wrong with my system and took control of it to find the problem. Then he tells me my system and Network has been hacked and that people all over the world had access to my system. As soon as he mentioned money I cut him off and rebooted my system and ran all virus software and windows software. They found nothing expect that there are 15 devices in my home that are connected to my network and I knew this.

I would like your help in suggesting a good Network software and help trying to get my old email address back working as a 2nd id on office 2007.

    Bud
