"Cloud Convert?"

I have been unable to play any/all videos since Cloud Convert loaded.

How do I uninstall Cloud convert?

note: I have performed two restore points and both have failed.

I continue to receive this message when I try to play a video.

"Windows media Player WMP cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."

"Open the Setting App (gear icon on your Start Menu)."

I opened the setting gear it has taken me to the "page Layout"

what now? This does not seem like the place to go?

    Hi Anthony

What version of Windows are you using is that Windows 10 or a previous version, if that is Windows 10, clicking the gear icon should have opened the Settings App as shown below.

Open the Control Panel, then go to Programs and Features, do you find Cloud Convert there to remove it?

If you do not find that there, where are you seeing Cloud Convert on your PC and what is the source and file type of the videos you are trying to play?

    .

    Hi Anthony,

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this.

The only Cloud Convert I have heard of is a 3rd party utility, did you install that on your system?

Open the Setting App (gear icon on your Start Menu).

Go to Apps, do you see Cloud Convert in the list of installed apps, if so, you should be able to uninstall it from there.

If you do not find that there, where are you seeing Cloud Convert on your PC and what is the source and file type of the videos you are trying to play?
