When you go to print is there a popup where you pick your printer? If so on that popup there should be Specifications and there you should be able to do the selection.

2021-05-17T14:46:47+00:00 Since posting I found the answer in the control panel on the printer. Found under system settings and submenu paper jams. I fault HP for this part; in stead of starting the options at number 1, they started at the end in Japan metric size papers. Have to force a scroll up to number one to find US paper sizes.
