I had to reinstall Windows to put it on my NVME. Before when it was on my SSD, I had the option for Ultra Performance Mode for the power options. Now with Windows reinstalled and etc. The option is no longer there. All I see is Balanced, High and Power Saver. How come? Where did Ultra Performance go? Is there a way to get it back??

    Hello KaiN05, how are you?

My name is Rafael, I am an independent advisor and also a user, just like you!

    I'm happy to help you!

To enable the Ultimate Performance mode, perform the steps below:

    > Open the Windows Command Prompt as an Administrator

    > Copy the command below

    powercfg -duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61

    > In the Command Prompt window, press the right mouse button to paste the command

    > Press the "Enter" key on the keyboard

    > Go to the power options and Ultimate Performance mode will be available!

    * If the power plan window was open during the procedure, close and open it again!

    Let me know the result!

If you still have a problem I hope your answer!

    Hello KaiN05,

The "Ultimate Performance" power plan is only available in the Windows 10 Pro for Workstations edition by default.

However, you can use option 2 in the tutorial below to add it.

Then how come I could use it before? I’ve been on Home? I’ll try that though, thanks.
