A software named Vanta is not getting installed on my machine.

On my laptop, Windows 10 Pro, Vanta agent is not getting installed.

The prescribed method of running CLI Doctor for getting the details is not working out as there is no CLI Agent.

What is happening in this particular Windows 10 Pro computer is ..

Once I click Vanta exe to install, it will take some time to start the installation process, it will start, copy the file, start the services and then comes at a stage where it says, "Please login in the open Browser Window for registering Vanta computer" (I suppose I remember the text correctly, it will wait for sometime, and then the process gets rolled back.

I suppose the issue is with speed of computer. The installer is waiting for confirmation I suppose and before it gets the confirmation, its rolling back.

I tried multiple options to disable Anti Virus, Defender, but its not working out.

Please suggest an option as to how to proceed.

    I had the same. It seems VANTA does not work in a system with customized registries. For instance, I had auto-update registry disabled, which is what was preventing VANTA from installing. After resetting it to default, the issue disappeared.

    What 3rd party anti virus are you using?

    Windows 10 does not need any more than Windows Security and Malwarebytes.

    I understand that you are unable to install Vanta Software on your computer. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.

    However, please let us know:

    1. What is the complete error message that you receive?
    2. Are you able to install any other application on the computer?
    3. Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? Refer Which version of Windows operating system am I running?

    I would suggest you to download the Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter, which helps you automatically repair issues when you're blocked from installing or removing programs. It also fixes corrupted registry keys.

    To do this, refer the article on Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed.
