Hello, i'd like to install windows 7 on my win10 laptop.

Actually i can't install windows 7 because when setup reaches expanding files i get error: Drivers Missing and then the setup  let me decide where drivers are stored. I don't have these drivers. I tried to put in a folder disk.sys etc etc but it says they aren't signed. Help

Thanks in advance

    1. First thing you do is check if the Windows 10 computer manufacturer supports and supplies Windows 7 drivers for your exact model number.

    If they don't supply Windows 7 drivers for it, forget about installing 7 on it.

    1. You don't say what type of license you have for 7, as 7 deos not come for free.

    If you have a Windows 7 license:

    You do not tell us what type of License you have.

    If the Laptop/Computer came with the Windows Operating System preinstalled (Dell, HP, Acer, etc) , that Product Key that came with the Laptop/Computer is for the preinstalled OEM License and is non-transferable.

    The OEM License/Product Key (preinstalled Operating Systems on Dell, HP, etc machines) is tied to the first machine it is installed on and dies when that machine dies.

    The above rule also applies to OEM System Builders Licenses.

    Retail Operating System License, that you buy and install yourself, are allowed to be transferred to another machine.

    But Retail Licenses can also only be installed on one machine at any particular time.

    Hi @Bill_Smithers thanks for answering

    HP no longer support windows 7, so from the official site you can't find anything

    I installed windows 7, using GIGABYTE tool.

    After windows 7 installation i set up all the drivers, because the majority was not present.

    If someone is reading this post because they want to install win7, good luck:

    you can ONLY use the keyboard and you need (this should be already present) another OS, because USB is not working.

    Bye

    {

    ethernet

    wifi

    usb

    ded. GPU

    ...

    } => not present
