Right click Start button to open Device Manager, find the SD card reader, open and choose Driver tab, try Roll back. If not available try Uninstall, restart PC to reinstall Driver.
Next right click Start to open Disk Management, find SD card on map at bottom, right click to assign a drive letter.
If nothing else helps see if you can get it recognized on another PC to save the files, then clean and reformat in the problem PC:
