Hi, i have windows 10 installed in SSD to a machine with Intel core i5 CPU and 8GB of RAM, and already been runing for almost 2 years now.

Usually the start up "please wait" screen on boot (after the MB BIOS and windows 10 logo, before User PIN input screen) is barely seen.

But since a month ago i noticed that the "please wait" screen take a bit long, around a minutes or so.

Now i have tried q few fix but didn't really pay attention, until yesterday, i stuck at "please wait"  screen even after 15 minutes. I tried to reboot, trat up repair, system restore, start in safe mode, removing one of the 4GB RAM, removing other external and internal storage except the boot SSD, kicking the PC unit, tried to boot the SSD from different machine, and finally reset windows with files intact. After reinstall windwos with file intact, i can log for the first boot, but the second reboot took long time, altough not stuck for more than 15 minutes. I Tried to disable start up program, cleaned my SSD, moving a big chunk of files to external HDD, disabling fast startup, but no avail. Even as i wrtoe this, i am currently waiting my windows to boot, it's already 15 minutes.

I've checked my SSD with Crystal Disk and it says my SSD were in a good health.

Iam at lost and despetrate.

Please help

Regard

Yes, as i disclosed in my question, using "safre mode" was one of the many attempt i've made, sadly, to no avail. Other than that, i also have tried startup repair andsystem restore to no avail. Reset windows while keeping file intact also didn't work (It only work on the first boot, but at second boot, it keep stuck at "please wait screen" again).

Other than what i have statedin my original question, i also have tried to celan reset windows (The ona that also remove my files), i managed to shortened the pelase wait screen significanly, but itstill take around 3 minutes.

Try to boot into safe mode

Power ON your computer and as Windows / manufacturer's Logo appears, Power OFF - Repeat 3 times
Now your computer will go into Advanced Recovery Environment
Advanced Options > Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart
Press 4 or F4 to enable Safe Mode (5 or F5 to enable Safe Mode with Networking)
Log in once Windows starts in safe mode

Once you are able to boot into safe mode, check the integrity of the system

To startwith, you should execute these 2 steps

    1. Run Built-in & Guided Walk through Windows Update troubleshooter
Built-in : Windows Key+I > Click Update & security > Click Troubleshoot > Click Windows Update > Click Run the Troubleshooter

    Guided Walk though - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10164/...

    1. Run through Windows 10 Performance and Install Integrity Checklist by Greg Carmack, MVP to make sure that your Windows installation is rightly set up and optimized. Take all recommended steps outlined there to have best experience -

    B. Another option when you are in Advanced Options in previous step is to choose (Note - You won't lose any files in this step)

    1. System Restore - This will restore your system to a point when things were working fine.
      OR
    2. Startup Repair - Startup Repair upgrade fixes all Windows errors and retains all files, applications and settings.

    C. Last option could be Reset this PC.
In Step A > Troubleshoot > Reset this PC - Keep my files and Remove everything. Choose this carefully as most likely you would like to keep your files.
All apps will be removed and windows will be reinstalled.

Do let me know if you have any more question or require further help. I would be happy to work with you to take you though this problem.
