RSAT Tools Installation Error

Good day

I have recently upgraded my computer (windows 10 pro) to

Version 20H2

Installed on ‎13/‎3/‎2021

OS build 19042.928

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

I noticed that my previously installed RSAT tools are no longer available. Sighting this, I attempted to reinstall it.

At that point, I received the error message (Windows Standalone Installer "Installer encountered an error:0x8024001d").

I've tried every solution but it doesn't work

Good day! I'm Raniel, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

Kindly perform the following steps below and see if you'll be able to install RSAT:

    1. Open command prompt as admin
    2. Stop the wuauserv service
    3. Open regedit
    4. Change the value of UseWUServer to 0 under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU
    5. Start the wuauserv service
    6. On the cmd window, type the command: DISM.exe /Online /add-capability /CapabilityName:Rsat.ActiveDirectory.DS-LDS.Tools~~~~0.0.1.0
    7. Once done, Revert the UseWUServer value to 1
    8. Perform a reboot and check if RSAT is installed

If that didn't work, kindly perform the additional methods on these articles:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server...

I hope this helps. Good luck!
