Microphone Audio Muffled Severely

Hi. I recently got a new laptop and it worked perfectly. However, recently it has started really muffling my mic to the extent that you cannot understand what is being said and sometimes no audio comes through at all. I know it is not my microphone because I am having the same problem with several different inputs. Does anyone know what is going on or having any tips?

    Hi Carlo,

I've tried all the steps you've suggested but unfortunately, it hasn't seemed to have worked. The system model is WRTB-WXX9.

    Sincerely,

    Andrew

    Good day AndrewGissop,

I appreciate your time getting back to this thread, check if there any Realtek Audio driver or Intel Audio Driver that was installed, if none, take a screenshot of the Sound and Video Game controller and post it here.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Hello,

I'm having a bit of trouble. When I expand the "Sound and Game Controller" menu it just comes up with a list of my devices with microphones on. Which of these audio drivers should I uninstall?

    Sincerely,

    Andrew Gissop
