WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR BSOD (Huawei Matebook Pro X 2018)

Hello,

I bought a Huawei Matebook X Pro Signature Edition with the below specifications in July 2018 from Microsoft Store:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz   1.99 GHz

Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

512GB SSD

Nvidia GeForce MX150

My operating system is:

Edition Windows 10 Home

Version 20H2

Installed on ‎10/‎6/‎2020

OS build 19042.746

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

I also purchased a PerformanceGuard Protection Plan with it but I am not sure if it is valid yet or not.

For the last month or so, I am having BSOD with the error WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR at least once or twice a day. Mostly when I am running a heavy code, but not always. I did everything I could find online to fix it. I ran CHKDSK, made sure all the drives are updated in device manager. Made sure my BIOS is the latest version. I made sure that I have all the windows and security updates. I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic. I haven't touched the BIOS settings or overclocking since I don't even have access to them. I haven't reset my windows to default setting or factory settings yet. I monitored the CPU temperature and it doesn't go higher than 71-72 degrees. I installed Norton 360 to scan for malwares and viruses and noticed that whenever I do a full scan, I get the error after a couple minutes into the scan every single time.

I am so helpless at this point. this is the laptop I use for my work. Any help or suggestion is highly appreciated. I want to know what is the best next step. Below are the links to the critical log events that happened today and yesterday:

I'm in the same situation. My Matebook X Pro 2018 started crashing maybe a month or so ago and so far it's crashed 20 times this week. I just ordered a new SSD because I thought that might be the problem after updating the BIOS and all the drivers. Any help would be appreciated.

After trying many things, reinstalling windows couple times, updating all the drivers, I keep having crashes until I opened it, tightened up the SSD, unbelievably that solve my problems, so I guess you can try that or just install the new one and hopefully your matebook goes back to be a great computer 👍🏼

Did you ever find a solution for this? I have the exact same problem. Same exact pc purchased 8/2018. Started kernel panicking and stop code error around end of feb/March.  Have tried everything you mentioned above, with no success, and in fact it has gotten worse. Contacted Microsoft and they said to take to a tech to figure out hardware problem, or contact the mfr (but huawei clearly has no US support...).

    Hey Trevy,

I got it fixed actually. I contacted Huawei Canada through their website and chatted with an online rep and he arranged mailing my device to their authorized service center in Ontario and also covered the costs for sending and delivering it. They wrote "Software Reflash" as the issue and charged me $35 CAD for it. I think they had to reflash BIOS. it took me 10 days from the day I contacted them to the day I got my laptop back. I am going to leave the information here for you. Good Luck! :)

    Hi Hamid,

I'm Independent Advisor not Microsoft employee or support person. I have deep enough Windows knowledge and you may trust me. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you.

Did you turn laptop off forcibly by holding power button pressed? If not, please clean internal cooling system/ And it this will not help please repair laptop,

WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR usually means hardware problems, and Kernel-Power 41 (63) error mostly means the problem with power supplying.
