There's an unusual process called TiWorker.exe. Previous posts say that this is a Windows Update process, but this process runs for hours and heavily uses my CPU (50-70%). How can I delete it entirely or at least disable it permanently?

    Good Day Mohannad,

My name is Carlo, I'm an Independent Advisor and community member like you.
I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out.

The TiWorker.exe system process is related to Windows Update. This may happens if there are any updates happening in your computer, or the computer is checking/scanning for any updates available, that is why you are seeing high usage in the task manager. This is completely normal, rest assured that it is not a virus or malware.

    It was also discuss here.

This process uses up most of my CPU for hours. I want to disable it so I can run my computer properly. It uses up most of my CPU which leads to slow performance.

I have done so. There are no required updates. The PC is up-to-date. I don't think this process is a Windows Update process.
