Missing or corrupt files; ANSI_1252 cant be found  or are not installed on your system.

I have tried most of the solutions provided on forums but this doesn't leave me alone and keeps prompting on screen.

I am just beginning to learn AutoCAD and at the very start this error is testing my nerves.

Please help.

    To convert the file you need to install Notepad++.

    https://notepad-plus-plus.org/downloads/v7.9.5/

    1-Open the Notepad++

    2-Click on file>open and select the DXF file that you are receiving the error message.

    3-Look up the UNDEFINED value under the $DWGCODEPAGE section. Replace this with the code page shown in the message prompt (ANSI_1252).

    6-Save the file

    5-Then open the file in AutoCAD and run the AUDIT command.

    Hi, I am a bit confused as these things are new for me. I tried to apply the solutions but the last solutions I cant understand how to do.

    So I am still stuck with the problem. The good news is it is working with the fault as normal. But still it is annoying to repeatedly click Yes to the error message.

    Thank you for the consideration.

    Hi, I'm Robinson, an Independent Advisor and a Windows user like you.

    NLS files contain information for National Language Support, which allows for the transition and conversion between different character sets. NLS files are most commonly found in the Windows\system32 directory. They determine the settings that are used for formatting dates, times, currency, and large numbers for a thread. They also determine the sort order for sorting text.

    Please check the solution at this link.
