Hello,
Today, I have a few problems, for which I need help.
0x800f081f for no Source Files found. To fix that, I made an ISO with Media Creation Tool, and mounted it to use it as a Source. But, when I ran DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:ESD:H:\sources\install.esd, it still shows the same error that the Source Files are not found.sfc /scannow thrice, I couldn't use DISM due to the above reason, and ran chkdsk on all my partitions thrice. I did some "basic" research, and found that there was no Search Process, Cortana Process running to be shown in my Task Manager. I also ran the troubleshooter, which found "No Problems", and reset my Windows Search with the PowerShell Script here. I also manually reset Cortana and Search (again) from the Windows Settings and also tried the ctfmon.exeMy Windows Service is running normally, no errors even when I restart it. I've also rebuilt my search index, but of no avail. I also found a Powershell Command in this website, which did not work but spit errors out. Commands ran and screenshots below
a. Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

I do not want to go through the pain of Clean Install or a Reinstall, so please suggest me a few methods to fix it.
Thank you

Hello,
This is actually, kind of funny. I was doubtful of the Registry Modifications, because the default preset values said there, were actually not the same as my system. Still, I went ahead, and well, reopening my PC, I find that Search is actually working again.
I'll do a Repair Upgrade Tonight :)
Thank you
Hello WickedWizard3588,
Thank you for updating me with that information. If you can successfully perform a Repair Install via In-place upgrade with Keep my files option selected, it usually fixes this type of issues.
