How to unlock a password protected folder in Windows 10?

I locked one of the folder in my laptop (windows 10) by using a password protected code. I just put the code on notepad, create folder and locked it. Its a windows batch file (cmd.exe)

I totally forgotten my password now and tried at least 30 number of times to open it. Unfortunately the password was wrong and it didn't work.

Can somebody please tell me how can I unlock that folder? or delete this cmd.exe application from my laptop?

As this folder contains very important files and I need them on urgent basis.

Right  click  on  the  .bat  extension file  and  select  edit. Now  can  you  can  be  able to see  the  code  and  you  can  check  your password in  the  code.

Please let  me  know if  this  helps  you.

I locked one of the folder in my laptop (windows 10) by using a password protected code.

Which tool did you use to lock the folder?

If you used BitLocker then your files are lost. Why? Because it was your intention that nobody should be able to read the files unless he had the correct password. This restriction applies to you too.

Yes, I've used the same code , but when copying from the site i've copied extra line of code. "Advertisement"  in third line , this word is copied by mistake and password protected it .

Now I'm trying to open the folder by entering correct password and nothing is displayed, and I can't get my folder back
