Hello Team,

"Waiting for Approval" message appears when IT Technician boots from PXE.
PXE boot allowed for all the "Unknown" computers in SCCM.

Please help on the below queries

  1. Why this approval message appears
  2. Where to choose Approval in SCCM
  3. How to avoid this message in PXE Boot
  4. This occurs only from one Distribution Point

    Hi, @Boopathi S
    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    Have we checked SMSPXE.log to see if there any error or any words like "device is not in the database"?
    And is there anything special about this DP compared to others?
    Did you configure the DHCP scope option 66 and 67?

    We are also seeing this since we upgraded to 2107 with the latest KB installed.

    The SMSPXE.log reports the following:

    PXE::Settings::GetVariablesFile failed; 0x80004005
    PXE::Settings::GetVariablesFile failed; 0x80004005
