    Hi ALEKHRAMSAHU ,

previously did your laptop work via that SIM or did it never work?

In order to work, your laptop must have the Broadband Module for the mobile network installed. Normally this module is installed at the request of the user when purchasing the computer. Go to Device Manager, expand network adapters, post a screenshot.

    Dear ALEKHRAMSAHU,

Thanks for reaching out! I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

To connect to a cellular data network for the first time, kindly do the following:

1-Select the Network icon on the lower right corner of the taskbar, and then select the cellular network icon that appears in the list. Often, you’ll see the name of your mobile operator next to the cellular network icon.

2-If the Let Windows keep me connected check box is cleared, select Connect. If the check box is selected, you'll get connected to cellular data automatically when you're not connected to another type of network, such as Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

3-If prompted, type your user name, password, and the access point name (APN).

4-If necessary, check the info that might have come with your Windows 10 device, SIM card, or cellular device for more info about what settings to use.
