Hello,
when i copy something, it don't appear in the clipboard history menu Windows + V.
Some time later when i close/open Windows + V multiple times the text i copied may appear, but not everytime. or sometimes when i copy something else, the first thing i copied appear, it's totally random.
Some moments i see only this : ( i made it with paint because i couldn't figure out how to force the bug )

I have used the clipboard history some months ago, but i have no idea why this bug happen, it started more than 3 months ago so restore to a saved system points is not a solution anymore

Good day! I'm Raniel, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

Just to clarify, did you make any changes to your machine before encountering this issue?

Kindly double-check if your machine doesn't have any pending security patches: Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates.

Once done, clear your Clipboard Data

    1. On your search bar type "Clipboard settings" and open it
    2. Scroll down and select the setting to clear your clipboard data

Perform a clean boot and see if you'll encounter the same issue: https://support.microsoft.com/help/929135/how-t...

If that didn't work, kindly enable the "built-in" administrator account to isolate the issue:

    1. On your search bar, type command prompt and select "run as administrator"
    2. On the command prompt window, type net user administrator /active:yes and press Enter
    3. Reboot your machine, then login to your admin account, and check if you'll encounter the same issue.

Note: If you don't encounter the issue on the built-in administrator account, I suggest that you create a new user account (go through the steps under "My computer is in a workgroup") . Please refer to this article as a guide: https://support.microsoft.com/help/14039/window...

I hope this helps. Good luck!

    Hi im Ty

To check if the clipboard history is enabled, go to Settings > System and click on the Clipboard option on the left menu. ... Do note that when this option is disabled, your system will be able to paste only the most recent item on your clipboard, and you won't be able to access your clipboard history
