I noticed the 21H1 update is now available for my device. I was just wondering what the size of the update was so I can ensure I have enough disk space for it. I'm currently running version 20H2.

Hi, I am Van. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Windows user like you. I'll be glad to help you today.
The update itself is around 600MB. However, I recommend giving an allowance of at least 4GB for other additional minor updates that will release after the major update.
Best regards,
Van
I would have 30+ GB free space available
If you are doing a complete update you will need 30+ GB. The size of the Media Creation Tool is less than 1GB but it calls for items to be downloaded off the Internet that are to be installed onto your computer.
Thank you for the reply. For my case however the update was only around a few kilobytes as Pauli O's reply said, but thanks anyway.
