I have a Canon MX922 printer and it's set to work over WiFi. It prints from our phones and other computers, except for this one. I've uninstalled it, including ports and spooler and reinstalled it using the Canon MP driver (dated 2016) and it will scan documents, but, it won't print documents. If I try to print a test page then I get error :
Operation could not be completed (error 0X000007d1). The specified driver is invalid.
Any suggestions, short of reinstalling Windows?

The Canon update that you suggested seemed to work and I restarted the computer after installing it. When I tried to print a test page I got the same "the driver is invalid" error. When I look at the Hardware properties, I get:
"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)
To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."
This would seem to suggest a WIFI router issue, but, I'm still able to print from me phone and other computers on our network.
I'm using:
Edition: Windows 10 Home
Version: 21H1
OS build: 19043.1081
Experience?: 120.2212.3530.0
I haven't looked up Code 45, but. I will tomorrow. In the meantime, I appreciate any other suggestions that you have.
Thanks,
So, they still support the scanner driver, but, not the printer driver? I simply updated to the latest version within WinX for whatever bug fixes and such were available. I love how these companies work to ensure that worked yesterday suddenly doesn’t work today. Thanks.
Canon stopped supporting your printer after Windows 8. Moreover, your printer was supported as far back as Windows XP SP3. When a manufacturer stops updating their printers, particularly printers that are very old, it's only a matter of time before those printers stop working properly with new versions of Windows.
There's nothing that Microsoft can do about that - they can't force Canon to keep updating their printers - and there's little that you can do, but here it is:
Reinstall your printer from scratch, using the most recent software on Canon's website, which you can find here on Canon's website.
Canon won't help you any further, since they dropped support for your printer years ago, but you can still use the official Canon printer community forum to ask other Canon printer users if and how they solved the same problem.
Ideally, you're looking for a solution, rather than something that will merely make the problem go away for a while. But eventually, you're going to be buying a new printer.

-I understand you, and I know how frustrating it can be when something doesn't work the way it should:
Install the latest 2020 manufacturer's optional driver in Software, also install the latest 2020:

Also keep Windows up to date, Windows+i, update and security, check for updates.
Is it a laptop? Which model and brand? you may have an update available for the wireless driver.
