My system is running on windows 10 pro edition, I've 250GB ssd for C drive (not encrypted) and D, E drive as HDD (both bit locker encrypted) , before encryption PC was running fast ( boot time, app load time) was extremely fast, but now after encryption PC boot time is almost triple the amount it used to take , applications load extremely slow ( OS and apps are on SSD). Please suggest how can i make my system respond as it was earlier. ( no hardware changes were done). Machine has i5 3rd gen processor, 16GB of RAM.

    Good Day AbhijeetGhag,

My name is Carlo, I'm an Independent Advisor and community member like you.

I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out.

What are the services and processes running in your computer in the task manager?

-Click Start, type Task Manager and open it

    -Click Processes Tab

Take a screenshot of it and post it here.

Also check what version of Windows is installed in your device.

    -Press Windows key +R

    -Type winver and hit enter.

It will show you the version of Windows is installed in your computer and post it here.

I'll look forward for your response so that I can provide an accurate recommendation.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.

    Good Day AbhijeetGhag,

I appreciate your time getting back to this thread, it appears that the Firefox and third-party apps are taking most of the CPU and RAM usage.

Here's the steps you can try.

Reset the cache and cookies of your Firefox browser, disable any unknown extensions.

Once done scan you computer using the free version of Malwarebytes scanner to check if there are malwares running in your system.

    Here's the link to download.

    https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thank...

Once downloaded and installed, open the app and run a scan.

Once the scan is done , restart your computer using cleanboot.

After restart check the usage in the task manager.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.
