Touchpad problems after latest MS update on Lenovo ideapad 320 with Windows 10

After the latest MS update the right click on my touchpad stopped working. Finally got this fixed by restoring the previous driver. But I'm still having problems. Hover click keeps happening even though I have this turned off. In Google, the window keeps switching around if the cursor happens to land on one - even though this is turned off too. Huge swaths of type keep somehow selecting as I move the cursor around the page. I have ALL the touchpad gestures turned OFF as they drive me crazy. I don't know what to do. I used to love my laptop and now I hate it!

    Hi StarVoyager75_LMLP -

I'm Jerico T., one of the Independent Advisor and a fellow Windows 10 user like you. I understand that you're having some issues right now, let us sort things out.

Please try to perform a rollback of your driver by going to the device manager. Here are the steps.

    Roll-back driver

    1. Open run box by pressing Windows Key + R and type devmgmt.msc then hit enter
    2. Locate and expand Mice and other pointing devices
    3. Right-click HID-compliant mouse and select Update driver
    4. Select Browse my computer for drivers
    5. Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
    6. Select any older driver from the list and click next
    7. Wait for the process to complete, once completed, restart your computer and check if it resolves your issue.

If the steps above did not work, please don't hesitate to reach back.

Hope this help. Have a good day.

    Thank you.

    Jerico T.
