eye sight problems

hi, i am wondering if you can tell me how to make the text bigger in windows 10, and also the web browser.

I have eye sight problems along with double vision, the smaller text blurs into each other, so i need to enlarge the text big enough so i can see the spacing between each letter.

    I am Dave, I will help you with this, there are a few options to try

    1

    You can make everything in Windows 10 bigger:

    Right click your Desktop, and select Display Settings

    Add 10% to the Scale and Layout percentage, then log out and back into Windows

    You can repeat the process until you are happy with the View.

    To just make text bigger in Windows 10, this process is not perfect, it only affects various parts of applications

    Open the Settings App

    Go to Ease of Access - Display

    At the top of that page is a slider to increate Text Size

    In your preferred web browser:

    To make everything bigger, press the Ctrl key on your keyboard and scroll up slowly on your mouse

    To make text size bigger, click the 3 dots at the top right of the browser and select Settings

    On the search box in the bowser settings type font

    On the right, you will seethe option to make text bigger by default in your browser.

    Hi Paul,

    Microsoft only provides the Magnifier App in WIndows10 and to be honest, it offers limited functionality, it would be better to use the options I listed above.

    There is a free utility available online named Winaero Tweaker, and that allows you to increase the font size in the various areas of Windows, it provides a lot more options than Windows 10 does.

    Hello Paul,

    To increase the text size in Windows, do the following :-

    • Open Settings
    • Go to System
    • Click on the Display tab
    • There should be an option called Scale and Layout. Increase that as per your requirements.

    This will also change the scaling for your Web Browser so it will be readable.

    If you want, you can still increase the scaling on web browsers by holding the Control "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and scrolling up on your mouse [Ctrl + Scroll Up].
