Link to Windows with Your Phone over Cellular?

I can't use Wi-Fi for Link to Windows (LTW) with Your Phone (YP) at work, because personal devices are not allowed on the private network. According to this article, I should be able to connect using cellular data instead. Has anyone been able to get this to work?

Linking this additional info about my setup and what I've checked based on the following support articles.

Samsung S10

  • Model SM-G973U
  • Battery saver off

Android 11

  • Baseband G973USQS5GUF1
  • Security patch level: July 1, 2021
  • Link to Windows is up to date
  • Link to Windows has all permissions
  • Link to Windows > Use mobile Data is on

Windows 10 Enterprise

  • 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
  • Version 20H2
  • OS build 19042.1165
  • Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0
  • Battery saver is off
  • Settings > System > Accounts seem to be working fine

Your Phone

  • Mobile phone is linked in Your Phone settings
  • Your Phone > Settings > Features are all on
  • Your Phone 1.21072.160.0 - up to date
  • Enabled to run in the background (Settings > Privacy > Background apps

Thanks in advance for any suggestions for using Your Phone with Link to Windows at work.

Thanks. I tried resetting, restarting and repairing, but still no connection via cellular. I'll post in the Microsoft forum.

-Hi, my name is Claudeir, I'm happy to help you!

Just to make sure there's nothing wrong with the app Your phone, Windows+Q, search for the app, right click > app settings > Restore. Restart the PC and test.

If through mobile data you can connect your smartphone to your Windows through the app Your phone, certainly something related to your Wifi network is blocking access, as you are on a corporate network, I recommend contacting your IT support.

And if need be, I want to apologize that this is just an ordinary consumer forum. Due to the scope of your question, I recommend posting it on Microsoft's Q&A site, which is a technical community platform where the majority of members were IT professionals who would help you a lot with the issue. They have IT experts who can help you better, especially about Windows servers, Active Directory and Group Policy settings, etc.
