It's the current password you log in to Windows with. If you have none, leave it blank.

2021-08-02T03:22:53+00:00 Hi,
Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.
I understand that you are facing issues in signing to your Microsoft account. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.
I would like to inform you that after asking the email address and password for the Microsoft account, the computer will ask you to enter the current Windows password. If you have setup a password, enter the password and click on Next. Otherwise, you can leave the password space blank try clicking on Next and it should allow you to complete the process.
Let us know how it goes.
Regards,

The prompt is referring to the current local account password. If you didn't set up any local user account. You can just leave it blank and click next. It should let you through and continue the process.
Best regards,
Van
