I use an laptop without a external monitor, only internal, oh and if you suggest I use nvidia control panel to fix it I have most of my options somehow missing from there.
How do I select nvidia graphics card instead of amd integrated graphics card
when i went to display settings to set 144hz refresh rate, it only let me choose from two options; 60hz, 40hz. My internal display was connected to my integrated amd graphics card instead of my dedicated gtx 1650, thus not allowing 144hz refresh rate on my monitor, how do i change it to my dedicated gpu????

I'm Rodrigo and I will help you.
On laptops, the internal display is always connected to the Integrated GPU and this can't be changed.
You need to change the settings on Radeon settings to change the refresh rate on the internal display, if there isn't the refresh rate option you want, you need to update your Radeon drivers.

2021-08-29T15:46:50+00:00 I use a HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec1000nia gaming laptop, I need the screen to work at 144hz not 60hz you don't get me, the screen needs to go 144hz not 60hz whether I select the GPU to be active on a game or not has nothing to do with the screen's refresh rate.
