Hi J-S-1,
Good day! This is Jhakesong an Independent Advisor and I will be happy to assist you with this.
It appears Synctoy 2.1 official download was discontinued in January 2021.
Let me know how it goes. Have a great day!

I'm trying to download SyncToy, but the download page (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=15155) gives me a 404 error ("We're sorry, this download is no longer available") and the search bar doesn't give me any hints as to where it might have gone. Is SyncToy no longer available?

Thanks for a quick update, DeepayanC.
I wonder if it could be related to the specific edition of Windows 10? Most posts (including mine) just say "Windows 10" most of the time.
This computer I'm using has Microsoft Windows 10 Pro for Workstations installed (Version 10.0.16299 Build 16299), and the System Type is "x64-based PC".

P.S. FWIW, here's another (old) series of posts on the topic:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/downloading-synctoy-for-windows-10/1455de41-a8ae-4a3f-b2f1-ac55b747fbf1?page=1 .
P.P.S. I've now installed FreeFileSync and got it running. It seems to have some pretty similar features to SyncToy, with a more garish GUI that will take a little time to get used to.
Maybe no other options for me other than to use something else on Windows 10!
FreeFileSync seems to get good reviews, as a free (donationware) alternative.
Luckily SyncToy still works on my laptop at home (where I'm running Windows 8.1) :-)

Yup. After the dism command, you can then proceed to installing synctoy as all it's requirements will already be installed.
What do you mean by "Then proceed to install SyncToy" after mounting the iso and running the dism command?
