BUY A Windows 7 Ultimate product key

Anonymous
2021-07-22T11:10:28+00:00

I have Win 10 Pro. Don't like it much. My Laptop probably can't run Win 11.

I have and USE Win 7 Ultimate (Dual-boot), but it seems that the Key is not Kosher ... I thought it was ... but it still runs fine, as far as I can tell. Add to that, I live in Germany

Some would call me crazy, but some understand ...

that I want to know how I can LEGALLY BUY A Windows 7 Ultimate product key and pay a fair price, even from Microsoft.

I boycott Amazon. There are people asking ridiculous prices on ebay, and they ALL want to sell the DVDs which I don't want/need.

Any ideas, advice? Thanks

PS I want my XP back!!!!

Thanks, and I do already know all of this. I bought this Laptop new with Win 7 Pro OEM legally installed. Through a blunder I lost the system and the online store here in Germany said they could not provide the install iso. I went looking and bought Ultimate with the DVDs. It was supposed to be legal. It's been running for 7-8? years, so drivers are no problem. A year ago I got the desktop "brand" that, "This copy of Windows is not genuine". I tried to do something back then, but the support had ended and I gave up until now.

I am just looking for a response/offer that "feels" believable and real and legal.

    Thanks

ps. Fact is, there are millions who would have loved to keep their Windows 7. I'm not a lawyer, but I ask myself if MS has the right to control the legitimacy of things that they don't service.

I ask myself how many billions of gigawatts is used just keeping up with Microsoft & Co. and their often negative creativity?

Microsoft and its resellers have not sold Windows 7 for years.

And we can not recommend anywhere that is safe to buy it from.

If you still want to take a chance on buying it from somewhere:

    Warning:

You do not buy a Product Key by itself, as they are normally stolen/pirated, Volume Licenses which are not for private use, or MSDN keys which are not to be sold by the original subscription holder.

Make sure that you buy the complete sealed package (DVD, license)

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/howtotell/Shop.aspx

Read Section: Beware of Product Keys sold separately.

And the laptop manufacturer would have to supply Windows 7 drivers to ensure 7 installed and worked correctly.

Thanks again. I was an MCSE and still know my way around (when I don't destroy my system or mistakenly delete tons of vital files).

I'll just wait to see if there is another response from the "community", because the rule, "Never (purposely) Change a Running System" still has meaning for me, especially if it avoids waste. Many creators of "Intellectual Property" are so used to dictating needless changes.

    Thanks

(yet another) ps. My Ultimate was kosher enough to be able to get Win 10 Pro free back then, but with all these machine-driven changes going on so rapidly, MS & Co. have lost the ability to just do things like selling people like me licenses.

There is one film, "What's So Bad About Feeling Good" with Mary Tyler Moore & George Peppard that nobody has been able to watch for over 50 years, because the lawyers and "owners" ... well, you know.

In my last reply before this I gave you information about your activation problems.

FYI: We don't work for Microsoft and Microsoft never looks at these Windows 7 forums.

There isn't any place that we can recommend.

With your Ultimate, did it come with the license/product key?

And we don't want to see it!

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

If you had come here when you had the problem years ago, you could have reinstalled what came preinstalled on it, 7 Pro

Read through this as you say you could not get the required ISO years ago.

You can borrow the exact same edition of Windows 7 Pro Retail DVD and use your Product Key on the COA sticker to reinstall the operating system.

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Or you can use this for preinstalled OEM or Retail Licenses. This is on a first come, first served monthly basis.

Download the correct ISO file and make your own disk and use the Product Key that is on the COA Sticker.

    https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/67-microsoft-windows-and-office-iso-download-tool

    Download: Windows ISO Downloader.exe

And here are instructions on how to burn ISO images to disk:

You change the Boot Order in the BIOS to be able to boot from your installation media:

    Then do a clean install:

The COA sticker is either on the underside of the Laptop or in the Battery Compartment.

With a Desktop it is either on the side, rear or top of the Computer Case.

Using the downloaded ISO file Method may require phone Activation.

It may require that you use phone Activation.

The above method also will require you to go to your Computer Manufacturer's website > Support and Downloads Section > locate your Model Number and Operating System > then download and install the latest Drivers for it.
